The Caseificio Sociale Sabbionara has been operating in the Bassa Vallagarina area since 1911 and is the benchmark for local cheese-making in the valley. The associated farms are linked to the Monte Baldo area, where in summer they practice both mountain pasture and mowing of hay for the cattle. The cheeses are processed in the dairy at the feet of the castle of Sabbionara d'Avio.
The shop is located in the village of Sabbionara.
